We are pleased to inform you that we will be organising the Rolex Tournament on 15th of September at our club.
Participants:
Amateur players, members or subscribers of the Club and invited guests of Rolex, over 18 years of age and in possession of a valid licence issued by the Real Federación Española de Golf.
Foreign players without a RFEG licence may also participate, when they can prove their handicap with a certificate issued by the federation of their country of origin, which is not older than one month.
Modality of Play:
Individual. It will be played in one round of 18 holes, Stroke Play modality.
Format:
Played on Thursday, 15th of September , with shotgun start, limited to 72 players.
Rolex will provide breakfast before the start, halfway, as well as a ham cutter and a fine cocktail or lunch (depending on health restrictions) before the giving awards ceremony.
“Welcome pack” for participants with promotional Rolex items presented at the end of the match.
The handicap and scratch winners will qualify to compete in the final at Club de Campo La Zagaleta on a weekend in October at a hotel to be determined, along with a companion and will receive an engraved silver trophy.
There will be a Rolex item for the runner-up and the best qualified woman.
A double invitation to the 2023 Solheim Cup.
A number of Rolex items will be raffled after the prize-giving ceremony.
Categories:
In each Tournament there will be a single indistinct category:
– Gentlemen, limited to exact handicap 18.0.
– Ladies, limited to exact handicap 24.0.
Those players who have a handicap* higher than 18.0 (Gentlemen) and 24.0 (Ladies), will be able to participate, but with their exact handicap limited to the one indicated.
*The handicap refers to the registration handicap, as the playing handicap may be higher depending on the slope of each course.
Trophies:
– Winner Handicap: Rolex Trophy and qualification for the final with companion.
– Winner Scratch: Rolex Trophy and qualification for the final with companion.
– Second Winner Handicap: Rolex gift.
– Best ranked lady: Rolex gift.
