Alfonso Fernández Crespo Takes Over the Leadership of Our Greenkeeping Team
We are delighted to introduce Alfonso Fernández Crespo as the new Head Greenkeeper at T Golf Calvia. Alfonso combines a unique blend of qualities: professional training as an agronomist, international experience at world-class golf courses across six countries and four continents, and the passion of a golfer with a handicap of 5.
His impressive career includes collaborating on several European Tour tournaments and preparing for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome. Most recently, he served as Head Greenkeeper overseeing the complete development and opening of Campo de Xaz in Coruña – the first new golf course in Galicia since 2007.
The goal for 2026: Together with our Director Borja Ochoa, Alfonso is working to ensure that our largest greens on the island also remain the best, further elevating the premium standard of T Golf Calvia.
